Tinlei “Sassy” Miller is one of those kind of kids that you can’t help but smile when she walks in a room! Our family is going through one of the hardest things we’ve had to overcome so we wanted to create this page to show support & give updates to everyone that is following her progress & recovery!

A lot of people have asked what caused them to go to the hospital in the first place, here is why… She’s been having bad headaches and it’s being caused by excessive spinal cord fluid building up and putting pressure on her optic nerve and brain stem. They found out some of that information when she went to the eye doctor last week. So our mom took her to the ER. A CT scan at the ER found a 3.5×4.5cm mass on her brain.

She has had one surgery Weds. June 22nd, to add an EVD tube because they’re going to be draining the fluid over the next week & then make a plan of attack to remove the tumor.

The tumor does look like it is completely surrounded by fluid so Tinlei’s neurosurgeon team is very positive that this could be a best case scenario process, but only time will tell.

There is not many more updates but between myself and my family, we will add in what we learn. For now, we will not let it get us down & we will all be strong for our sassy Tinlei girl!!
